Trisha Roy is an international speaker, global real estate consultant, and sustainable design/build expert.
A Florida based small business owner, Trisha owns a global boutique real estate brokerage – Open Spaces International, a real estate training firm - Open Spaces International School of Real Estate, as well as Eco Global USA – her green design consultancy firm.
An instructor for the National Association of Realtors, as well as Florida Realtors, Trisha is a Gold Standard Instructor under the Real Estate Educator’s Association, REEA USA.
Trisha holds two master's degrees: the first in Ecology and Environment from the Indian Institute of Ecology and Environment, where her research on the behavioral ecology of red pandas in the Himalayan foothills received distinction; the second in Business Management from Kettering University, focusing on the environmental impacts of the automobile industry in the Greater Flint area. Trisha grew up in Kolkata, India, and attended Lady Brabourne College, University of Kolkata.
Professionally, Trisha has earned several National Association of Realtors designations, including Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), At Home With Diversity (AHWD), CRB, CRS, ABR and GREEN.
Beyond her real estate career, Trisha is a published author with contributions to newspapers and magazines on topics such as ecology, environmental issues, and leadership theories.
Trisha volunteers actively on many committees for the REALTOR organization, both at the state and national levels. In 2025 she is serving as the President of Real Estate Business Institute, Florida Chapter. She is involved in Professional Development, and is a passionate advocate for education and proficiency. She also serves as Vice President for Gainesville India Cultural and Education Center.
In her personal life, Trisha is a mother to two college-going young men, 20 and 22. Trisha enjoys nature and wildlife photography, and practices Shotokan Karate, earning her Black Belt, and the rank of Sensei, at the age of 52. Trisha is a dancer-choreographer, and embraces her heritage and cultural roots in everything she endeavors.
Through her diverse experiences and leadership roles, Trisha Roy continues to make significant contributions to the real estate industry and her community.
